Dental Makeovers

We see MANY dogs come into rescue with severe dental disease and fractured or rotten teeth that desperately need extractions. Our dedication to getting senior dog's mouths in healthy condition prior to adoption has resulted in over 350 teeth being extracted in less than four years of rescue.

 

Dog's dental care is extremely important to pay attention to, yet so often overlooked. Dental disease causes painful infections, abcesses and holes in dog's sinus cavities that must then be sewn shut. Included in this gallery are just some examples of intake photos of dog's mouths prior to dental surgery to extract rotten teeth and clean up the remaining teeth so that dogs can go on to be pain free and healthy. Please check your dog’s teeth regularly and have them cleaned.
